Wood pellets are a type of bio-fuel made from compacted sawdust and has far lower net lifecycle carbon dioxide emissions than fossil fuel equivalents. It is an environmentally good choice for central heating with a pellet stove in the home environment. Pellets are very rich in energy and are easy to store.
